Wave One is a non-profit organization committed to helping 100 or more small businesses in the downtown Palo Alto area reduce their energy and water usage by producing energy-use benchmarking data, recommending public resources, and introducing new energy-saving technologies to the small commercial market. Wave One is also working to facilitate greater coordination between business owners, vendors, building owners, and property managers in order to make energy efficient solutions a practical reality. Ultimately, Wave One will help downtown Palo Alto further contribute to the city’s aggressive energy reductions and climate goals, while transforming Palo Alto into a model for other small commercial districts across the state.
